The Myth of Talent If there's one comment that is made more often than any other on any decent piece of artwork it's "you're so talented." It's also the one [positively intended] comment I've seen the most artists bristle at, sometimes even retort. For some of us, it's a pet hate. Why? We know it's meant as a compliment, so we smile and say thank you and try to resist the urge to insist that 'talent' is the biggest myth there is. Yes I know. It's about time I posted a journal about school isnt it? Anyways, 8th grade is no change from 7th so far...I still get to doodle in every sigle class (thank GOD) If not, I'd be dead by now. I also want to apologize for the lack of art lately...I've sure been drawing way more than I've been posting. I also have been trying to figure out SAI, which has been fun. I promise school skech dumps soon! I just can't get this scanner to work...so yeah. I have been obsessed with Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) lately.
